Chandler’s Bakery was founded in 1995 by the Chandler families after settling in Charlottesville from Connecticut, where Carolyn Chandler Mucherino, owner of Chandlers, received her training before relocating to Virginia.  Since that time, Chandler’s has been remarkably well received by the residents of Charlottesville and the surrounding counties, and over the years, has been consistently voted “Charlottesville’s Best” in various newspaper polls.  During this time, Chandler’s has served over 1 ¼ million customers and delivered tens of thousands of beautifully decorated specialty cakes and desserts.

We have delivered beautifully decorated, delicious cakes to every country club, hotel, and event center in the greater Charlottesville area, as well as receptions as distant as Lynchburg, Harrisonburg, Richmond and northern Virginia.   All of Chandler’s products are prepared from scratch with basic ingredients, and baked daily to ensure outstanding flavor and freshness.
